Caribachlamys mildredae, F.M.Bayer 1941

A species of much discussed taxonomic status which is not surprising since it shares its habitat with the similar and very variable sentis; mine was dived in 55 ft depth about 2 miles Northeast of Boca Inlet, hidden under dead coral rubble, and it was taken by a diver friend of mine in 1990 so this is authentic data which adds scientific value to this already outstandingly beautiful specimen which is definitely one of the treasures in my collection; writing this you will understand that I wouldn't want mine to be confused with any other species, much less the common sentis as mentioned above.
