Lindapecten madrynensis (Lahille MS, in Bavay, 1906)


I still find this to be the most problematic species in the whole family although just recently I had the chance to discuss it with a true expert from the Natural History Museum of Buenos Aires who supplied me with a group of authentic specimens which were diver taken and documented, a most important requisite for all shells of course but never so true as here with these pieces.
