From the Northen Mariana Islands ( and don't dispair if you cannot locate them without checking on google maps ) comes this treasure, a shell so rare that not unlike a piece of art it came to me passing through many hands and important collections. The Genus is otherwise well known and gathers quite a few of Far Eastern species which are beautiful of course but none of these will match the authentic marybellae for its mystery that always comes with rarity. A masterpiece and you can enjoy its beauty even if you know you will never have one of your own.
